I am a Research Fellow on the Explaining Religion Project, a European Union-funded project led by the University of Oxford (Harvey Whitehouse), with the Institut Jean-Nicod (Dan Sperber), Queen’s University (Jesse Bering) and Washington University (Pascal Boyer).

I have studied philosophy, sociology, psychology and biology at the Universities of Paris, Nantes, Aix-en-Provence and Michigan.

I did my PhD under the supervision of Dan Sperber at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and at the Institut Jean-Nicod (Département d’Etudes Cognitives of the Ecole Normale Supérieure). I have developed a naturalist and mutualist theory of morality.

I have a broad focus on the relation between evolution, psychology and the social sciences.

I am a regular blogger at Cognition and culture. I have co-founded Alphapsy, a site and a blog dedicated to the relationship between evolution, cognition and culture.
