Ernesto Perini-Santos is a professor at the Department of Philosophy of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and researcher at the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Philosophy from the same university, and obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy from the University François Rabelais, Tours. He was a Visting Scholar at Stanford University, with a CAPES-Fulbright grant, and a Swiss National Fund Excellence Scholar at the University of Geneva. His research interests include the philosophy of language, but also the history of medieval philosophy and, more recently, social epistemology.
