Sujet de recherche

Interface sémantique/pragmatique, psycholinguistique, modélisation

I am a researcher in linguistics, most specifically in semantics and pragmatics. My research focuses on phenomena at the interface between linguistic meaning and general reasoning, more specifically questions, implicatures, and gradable adjectives. My work combines psycholinguistic approaches (studying linguistic behavior both in adults and in children), traditional formal approaches inspired by logic, and quantitative modeling. I currently work on the ANR project “Probabilistic Semantics and Pragmatics” headed by Benjamin Spector and Paul Egré at ENS (Paris). I was previously working with Floris Roelofsen at the University of Amsterdam.
