Thème de recherche

Constructing a unified theory of consciousness,

dir. U. Kriegel

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut Jean Nicod at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. I am primarily interested in understanding the ontological, epistemological and normative aspects of consciousness in an integrated manner and providing a comprehensive theory of consciousness. I am also involved in an interdisciplinary research project of designing a training method of introspection with cognitive neuroscientists.

I received a PhD from Hokkaido University (Japan) in 2015, under the supervision of Tomoyuki Yamada. I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Chiba University from 2015 until 2018. I have also worked as a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the University of Glasgow in 2016. In my dissertation, I defended naive realism as a theory of perceptual consciousness.
