I am currently a postdoc in the Horizon Europe-funded project BIOcean5D, a multidisciplinary project exploring marine life and how it changes with space, time and human impact. With my research group within the project we plan, implement and analyze deliberative valuation workshops for planktonic ecosystem services in communities all over the European littoral to reveal public preferences for these complex and often unfamiliar entities and processes.

For my PhD thesis, I worked on environmental values and their reflection in methods for economic environmental valuation, using different approaches from behavioral economics to environmental ethics.
