My work primarily investigates the implications of moral philosophy for social, political, and legal institutions. I am particularly interested in how, as a society, we can express a commitment to moral principles and facilitate (or hinder) the development and exercise of moral agency.

Within the ASTOUND project, I analyze the ethical issues connected with the possible development and implementation of artificial consciousness.
