My primary fields of interests lie in Philosophy of language, the Semantics/Pragmatics interface, Metaphor, and related issues. I also have interests in Metaphysics, Logic, and Philosophy of action. Before my doctoral studies, I obtained a B.A. and an M.A. in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, México). I also was a member of the Program of Associated Students of the Philosophical Research Institute at UNAM.
