I’m a philosopher of language, interested in semantics, pragmatics, metaethics and experimental philosophy. I did my PhD (Nov. 2013- Jan. 2017) in a cotutorship between Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa (Linguistics) and the Institut Jean Nicod in Paris (Philosophy), under the supervision of Pier Marco Bertinetto and Isidora Stojanovic. In my thesis I propose a uniform presuppositional account of slurs and thick terms.

In 2017 I was a post-doc for one year at IFILNOVA (Lisbon) in the “Values in Argumentative Discourse” (PI : Erich Rast) ; in 2018 I was a post-doc for one year at the Faculty of Philosophy, San Raffaele University, in the project “Slurs, Hate speech and Discrimination” (PI : Claudia Bianchi). Since January 2019, I’m a post-doc fellow at the University of Milan, in the project “Experimental approaches in Cognitive Pragmatics” (PI : Giuliano Torrengo).
