"Using behavioral methods, I'm interesting in how infants, children, teenagers and adults with typical and atypical development become able to generate mature moral judgment and to behave in a morally appropriate way.
I obtained my PhD at the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et de Psycholinguistique, at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, with E. Dupoux and P. Jacob where I explored the nature of the processes responsible for the development of our ability to generate intent-based moral judgment. I also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Risk and Resilience Unit at the University College of London (UCL) under the supervision of E Viding where I explored  the role of emotional processes, ToM capacities and executive control resources in the development of typical and atypical moral cognition (i.e.,  teenagers with conduct disorders) in teenagers. I also investigated more deeply the role and nature of inhibitory control resources in typical development of moral judgment with Gregoire Borst, M. Cassotti and O. Houdé.  Currently, working with T. Zalla at the Institut Jean Nicod, I'm starting to examine the extent (and reasons) of moral impairment in children, teenagers and adults with high functioning autism.

Besides, I have ongoing collaborations on various topics dealing with the development of social and moral cognition and especially the development of inferential reasoning in the context of hierarchical dominance (E.Spelke, Havard University and E. Dupoux, LSCP, ENS), the development of Theory of Mind abilities (K. Helmig, IJN, ENS), the role of intuitive and costly processes in different type of moral judgment (J. Martin and F. Cushman, Harvard University), the impact of executive training/impriment on moral decision making (S. Moutier, LPPS, René Descartes University) and the factors responsible for the discrepancy between social behaviors and moral judgment abilities (E. Dupoux, LSCP/ENS, P. Jacob, IJN/ENS, Celine Scola, Psycle/Aix Marseille University)."
