The sea has been the object of intense cartographic innovations, and once fully cartographed it is the object of sectorialization, territorialization, and various types of map-based negotiations. Of particular interest are ways to express power relations, about alternatives to maps in representing sea data. The internship focus on Exclusive Economic Zones and explores ways to represent sea projection and power relations of maritime States.
