Based on Lawrence Solum’s originalist methodology the project will apply natural language processing methods in an effort to probe the hypothesis that the more a constitutional text originally contains markers of context-dependence (indexical, evaluative, relativisitic, etc.) the more it is prone to elicit an originalist reading across history.
