the new portal for virtual conferences, www.interdisciplines.org, founded by the euro-edu association, a group of researchers in the humanities and social sciences, is dedicated to the organization of conferences which make use of and encourage Web-based communication. The projects are selected by an international committee and favour especially interdisciplinary subjects not easily broached within traditional settings. The texts of each conference will be accessible to the public in two languages, English and French. All discussions will be open to the public, and led by a panel of invited speakers.
