Online catalogue

The Institut Jean-Nicod library came into existence when the  UMR was created in 2002. It is located on the first floor of the Pavillon Jardin, accessible from the École normale supérieure entrance at 29, rue d’Ulm 75005 Paris, and is open every weekday from 9 to 12 a.m. and 2 to 5 p.m.

The IJN library is dedicated to analytic philosophy and the cognitive sciences, with the human mind and the nature of representations (linguistic, mental, and social) as its unifying theme.

Online Catalogue

The IJN has an online catalogue, with more than 1,400 references for documents that can be consulted at our library. While only researchers and students who are attached to the institute are allowed to borrow these, the documents are consultable on request to all researchers and others interested.
In addition, the page of the HAL server of The Centre pour la communication scientifique directe (CCSD) on the IJN website presents the online publications of IJN researchers.
